It is estimated that more than a million vehicles in Britain are fitted with cloned number plates as criminals who switch them to pass by police cameras undetected. On the outskirts of Bradford, a suspected stolen car using cloned plates crashes after running a red light, leaving the occupants of another car with serious injuries, leaving officers to deal with the aftermath, while a manhunt is launched for the offenders.
Season 15, Episode 5
Traffic cops in Bradford pursue a team of suspected car thieves, travelling at speeds of 80mph. Elsewhere, North Yorkshire's Road Crime Team track down a stolen Land Rover Defender, but when a suspect makes a run for it into nearby woods, the officers are forced to give chase with nothing but a torch to help them catch their man.
